With a Tribe of almost 5,000 fans and a wide variety of influences to their music, Cowboys and Indians exude a strong, unique alternative sound.
The band was put together piece by piece 2 years ago with vocalist Austin Flores, brother and guitarist Andy Flores, and drummer Danen Reed. They wrote and recorded a song together (“Control”) and then slowly reached out to Ben Velazquez who was currently in a transition from another band, becoming the second guitarist. Last, but not least, bass player Brandon Armstrong was the final ingredient to the recipe of BBQ sauce that is Cowboys and Indians.
Accomplishing more than they wished for, Cowboys & Indians toured across Florida along with two other bands, Voices and Coyote Theory. They are currently getting ready to record with Matt Goldman of Glow In The Dark studios, who has produced a multitude of bands, such as Copeland, Anberlin and Oceana, to name a few.
