Color, light, reality and imagination are some of the key elements that an artist has to mix together, in order to reach their audience. This month’s artist does this just right; therefore, creating that wonderful visual feeling you get when you encounter great art. As you all know, December is a month full of art goodies for Miami, Fl. Wynwood, Mid-town, Miami Beach and other areas in the city, get their dose of color during and after Art Basel. It’s almost as if these areas were being dressed up for one of the most colorful times of the year, right? and what better than bringing you an amazingly talented artist for our December’s artist of the month section!!?

Kazilla aka Cassie Williams is a young artist who’s style bounds between the street arts and fine arts. Originally from Santa Fe, NM she currently exhibits the breadth of her work in Miami, FL. After moving to the east coast, her work has transcended the street arts and combined her two styles of fine art and graffiti to create an edgy, colorful clash of two very different worlds. The feminine figures, surreal landscapes and vibrant colors create a daunting visual feast for all audiences. She also works as a live artist, designer, muralist, photographer, producer, lyricist, singer, musician, and is the director of the non-profit artist group Multiversal.

All in all, Kazilla is one talented and multi-versed woman (she is the Director for the Multiversal Group!) make sure to check out her work throughout the city of Miami!!
