Here’s a duo from Portland, OR that if you have not heard of, you’ve been missing out, not only you but your ears as well! AU (pronounced “ay~you”) is composed of Multi-instrumentalist Luke Wyland and drummer Dana Valatka. In the bands website, their bio describes their sound as: “deftly treads a narrow bridge between the loose-associations of the backwoods freak-folk crowd and the more formalized concoctions of art-poppers like Brian Eno.” AU will be releasing their latest album Both Lights on April 3 via Hometapes.
