Juicebox is composed of Kris Alvarez and Sebastian Hidalgo. “Sebs” and Kris met each other in middle school, forming a band, and breaking up shortly after. Awww. About a year ago, Sebs and Kris stumbled upon each other at Miami Dade College in a Music Business class. They ended up reforging their friendship and agreed to join forces on Antics.
It wasn’t long after hanging out for a little while longer that Sebs showed some of his electronic songs he had been making, sparking Kris’ interest. He suggested Kris sing over them to see what it would sound like. They liked it so much that they ended up making a 5 track EP, but had to put it on hold because of the demands needed to be met for Antics. It wasn’t until now, a year later, that they found the time to release their EP. Juicebox is simply a side-project thus far; we’ll have to wait and see what’s in store for this electronic duo.
