Independence day and independent artists all in one? Sign me up will ya! This 4th of July Audio Junkie has teamed up with a bunch of local friends to throw a bash like no other. The party will take place at local indie film theater O-Cinema, where the Audio Junkie folks will be screening all their episodes throughout the day, local bands will be playing (there will be two stages) Subvert Ales will be sampling their brews, shirts will be screened, we will be broadcasting live and how can we forget, there will be a BBQ! It wouldn’t be a 4th of July party without some BBQ, would it? Tickets are ten Dollars (don’t get scared now,) those ten dollars will directly support Audio Junkie’s kickstarter! (Watch ad below)
The festivities will start at 2pm and will supposedly end at 11pm. Bleeding Palm, Beached Miami, Yo Miami, South Florida Music Obsessed, Pure Honey and many more local music sites will be celebrating as well, so bring some kinda bag for you to take home some cool local merch! Benton and Monkey Punch will be on the ones and twos providing you with tunes in between bands. Now that we mentioned bands, below are the times each band goes on. Consider it a guide for you to be able to watch your favorite bands and get introduced to one you haven’t ran into…yet.
