Venezuela natives, Kairo and Joshua met as kids and lived in the same neighborhood in Miami. Their friendship grew stronger when they realized they grooved with passion to the same music. Early in 2010, after years of playing various instruments (bass, clarinet, guitar, keyboard, drums, etc.) Kairo started CHALK., with Joshua stepping into the mix a few months later.
Influenced by The Doors and BRAINFEEDER, the duo create an interesting and very entertaining sound. Kairo provides the lyrical fire, with Joshua adding in drums and keyboards. CHALK. is currently signed under Loveless Records (formerly know as Dubporn Records), based out of Miami.
