Ashley Reda (vocals, guitar, piano) went to college in Gainesville with his best friend Chris Ament (vocals, guitar). They lived and played music together, so naturally they started a band. Drummers and bassists came and went, and with school not being priority number one, they decided to move back to Fort Lauderdale.
Ashley met Adam (bass) after he spotted his bass at a pawn shop. Eventually they met at a bar and Ashley asked him to become the bass player of the The Goddamn’ Hustle. Then he found Juan Hernandez (drums) through mutual friends. And there you have it; that is how Ashley, Chris, Adam and Juan became The Goddamn’ Hustle!
“…ruined my life ” is The Goddamn’ Hustle’s first EP, released on August 2012. Watch the video for their single “Dirty Pet Names”, now part of the Coney Island Film Festival.
