Ah! here’s a breath of fresh air to start of the week properly. Axel Boman (Barnhus) delivers some fresh tunes in his ‘Moon Dancer’ EP. Huge shout out to Third Try Records for putting this release out! You can read more about the label here (via the folks of Inverted Audio.) Below you’ll find the tune “Sunrise Over Slussen” which is one laid back tune that you’ll have on repeat all day. Imagine a stroll through Hawaii…Just the sound of that should put you in perspective.
Here are more details on the track: “Named after an area of Stockholm connecting Lake M├ñlaren to the Baltic Sea, there’s a vintage feel on this cut with a old timey piano riff and double bass as well as the skeleton of a primitive drum machine pattern. But this ain’t no subpar muzak. With playful melodies yet rife with subtle sound alteration and tinkering, this is the track to play and to listen to after a coming back from long night out dancing under the moon, while the sun is rising.”
Make sure to listen to the single here and you can purchase the limited edition vinyl release here. Enjoy!
