Retro Records Rescue Unit

The Retro Records Rescue Unit (The RRRU) is where forgotten vinyl finds new life and the pulse of the past beats strong. Created by a passionate Nurse working in HIV care with a deep connection to the disco era, The RRRU is dedicated to reviving the sounds that once echoed through the walls of legendary clubs like Trocadero Transfer, Paradise Garage, Crisco Disco, Backstreets, The Funhouse, and The Limelight.

Specializing in ‘Frisco and NYC bathhouse disco, Hi-Energy, and South Florida Summer Camp Freestyle, The RRRU unearths hidden gems from dollar bins and dusty collections, breathing new energy into these timeless tracks. Each record is a piece of history, a connection to the bohemians and fierce ancestors who made these dance floors their sanctuary.

The RRRU is more than a show—it’s a celebration of a culture that taught us how to be “Mighty Real.”
